New hires to fuel growth for KiWi Power

London, KiWi Power Ltd, the UK’s leading demand response aggregator, today announced several key appointments to accelerate the expansion of their UK operation.

London, KiWi Power Ltd, the UK’s leading demand response aggregator, today announced several key appointments to accelerate the expansion of their UK operation.

Mike Hall joins as UK Managing Director. Mike will take responsibility for leading a 25 strong team with specific focus on Business Development & Marketing, Technical implementation and Operational delivery. Mike joins KiWi Power from GE Lighting where he held the position of Sales General Manager for the UK & Ireland. Throughout his career he has worked in a variety of leadership roles including Johnson Controls as Managing Director, UK & Ireland for its Power Solutions Business and Sales Director for Europe & Africa for its Building Efficiency division.

Mike’s team includes the recent appointment of Daria Kennedy, Business Development Manager and Toby Merridan, Project Engineer – BMS and Controls. Daria joins from Origami Energy and will play a key role in helping to expand the UK footprint of commercial and industrial participants in demand response. Toby has 15+ years of engineering/project experience with an in depth knowledge of BMS technology gained from roles with Schneider Electric and formerly with Matrix (Marks and Spencer). He will support the development and delivery of technical projects and installation of proprietary hardware in complex and business critical operations.

Supporting the UK operation is Sam Botterill joining from the Energy Institute appointed as Corporate Affairs Lead. Sam will support initiatives to amplify the voice of demand response in shaping UK energy policy.
