Overview:

KiWi Power seeks an experienced Finance Director ideally with a background in the energy / power industry and proven experience / qualifications in finance. The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Report to the CEO and form a close working relationship with the Senior Management Team to facilitate providing leadership to the Board's finance strategy, to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position
- Contribute fully to the definition and implementation of company strategy
- Ensure company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth by working with the Senior Management Team
- Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including customers, advisors and investors

Main Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Preparing corporate budgets and quarterly forecasts for the board / shareholders, including financial modelling and writing presentations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for the board / shareholders, including board presentations and monitoring and evaluation of operating and financial results against plans and budgets
- Overall control, management and responsibility for financial accounting function (incl. bank accounts) and cash management (control of working capital), including statutory reporting working alongside the company’s external accountants and taxation compliance
- Oversight and implementation of company finance policies, financial controls and handbook ensuring regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
- Advising on business development projects development projects including joint ventures, strategic partnerships and equity transactions involving third parties
- Provide support and leadership to other company functions such as HR, legal, controls and risk management where required
- Ensuring the company’s financial systems are robust and support current activities and future growth

Overview:

This role is an exciting opportunity for a keen-minded individual to be responsible for dispatching our client portfolio at National Grid’s behest in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining our platform whilst managing the client portfolio.

  • Exceptional communication skills, including telephone manner
  • Technologically literate
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Punctuality is a must for this position, particularly when working early shifts
  • Problem solving skill
  • Reliable candidate that is dedicated and willing to provide administrative assistance where needed in other departments.

Main Responsibilities:

We offer:

An internal training will be provided. This will include training regarding the individual programmes that we offer, as well as, the in house bespoke platform which we operate.
 

Additional information:

The right candidate should be available for approximately 20 hours per week. Typical shift hours: 
 
06:00am – 14:00 or 14:00 – 21:30 (most shifts will be during the weekend)

As this position requires flexibility in its hours, it is ideal for candidates that are willing to work early and/or late hours and weekends.
 
We will try to accommodate preferences and plan shifts in advance but some degree of flexibility and cooperation required when creating monthly rota.
